This is a very unique album of raw black metal. Despite the "black metal" designation, the majority of the album has an almost languid clean vocal style, not unlike a lot of neo-folk artists. More familiar shrieking BM vocals crop up throughout though, making the atmosphere all the more dense and oppressive.
