Vulvanic's essential demo compilation returns to Dead Arts, this time on vinyl. For those that don't know, this Peruvian quartet play grimy black metal with a raw production sound. Instrumentally, the band takes a somewhat thrashy approach, bringing to mind first-wave BM acts, but with a layer of chaotic noise on top of everything. The vocals are what really set Vulvanic apart though. They spit and gag and howl constantly overtop the noise, bringing a real sense of possessed manic evil.
