The newest addition to the Lichen Hearth roster is the solo work of Fgmenth, who most notably handles the guitar work of Appalachian Fullmoon. This is a raw USBM EP/demo that quickly establishes a strong vision, with riffs ranging from dissonant and tense, to swift and melodious. It's a no-nonsense approach to black metal that's refreshing in an age of gimmicks.
